Paper-back

Finally!!! Made the news....! (well not quite so, but in the papers....thats news enough!!) :-)

Campaigning for BPDC (yea! had to spell out all that crap-in-quotes....on demand :-)) well, what the hell....my pic's in the news paper man! and I'm quoted!!! :-) Yippee!!! :-)

Couldn't have happened while I was in Dubai....I could've then "marofied" some serious style then.... :-( On second thoughts, I could've been beaten black & blue for saying such "good" stuff :-)

P.S.
Pooja's my senior.
Meet's apparently my junior i never knew existed.

P.P.S.
For those who were bothered by the illegibility of the print, here's what I had to say about BPDC -
"Four years in this institution has helped me mature from an unruly high school girl to a professional SE. I've found that BITS education has definitely given me an edge over my colleagues in every task I undertake. BPDC pass-outs are all-rounders able to excel in all walks of life."

WC 2007

"Ban the effing game!"
"I swear I aint gonna watch it ever again!"
"Its those effing ads these guys are more worried about!"
"yea! this too much! they need to be taught a lesson!"
"WTF is the BCCI doing??"

Yes, I am still unabashedly writing about the great debacle!! Couldnt help but comment on the afore-mentioned nonsense...all these the statements lifted out of posts in the INFY Bulletin Board....emotions expressed by "disheartened", "outraged" "FANS"!

“Ban cricket!" cries; "Chappel Go Back" (influence of the freedom fights!!) slogans; talks about boycotting products endorsed by the players; thoughts/advices to change the team, captain, etc…
whoa! Loads of things on our hands....but, before we get 'em "dirty", let’s take a breather. . . . a reality check, shall we?

“Ban” Cricket??? Just becoz India has failed miserably?? In throes of “patriotism”??? Blue Bullionism?? Does cricket solely mean Indian team "performance"??? If you’ve answered yes, there’s no need to read further! You can go back to brooding over your failure. Personally, I have always relished every match, irrespective of the nationalities of the players (classic example was the day before yesterday's AUS/SA match...was pure pleasure...cricket of the highest class) The game, in itself, is still entertaining, promising, enjoyable....only the Indian Team is not.

Boycott cricketers-endorsed products?? Wat good could possibly come of it? The sponsors had also bet their money on the players...little did they expect their “ducks” to prematurely stop laying the golden eggs. The brand ambassadors for their products are selected based on the public “affection” for these people...so, who to point the finger at anyways? We've equally spoilt the "heroes"!
On another note, bollywood stalwarts also have disappointed /still keep disappointing us....we stop using their products as well?? :-) We might as well stop buying anything off the racks, then....

Changes in the team....
Agreed! A major revamping is called for....but this is something the BCCI has to do....where, unfortunately, more than the P-word “potential”, looks like the P-word “politics” is what plays a major role!!!

Stop watching the game!!! HAHAHA :-D This cracks me up! All our fretting and fuming will be forgotten after a few victories by the team....after they bag 2-3 meaningless tri-series/tests.... the Indian “hopes” are raised once again, new ads aired with the same team endorsing different products....it'll be like the WC2007 never happened....
Once again the midnight oil will burn 4 years later, in the hope (confidence??) that the past performance will not be repeated!!

Chill dudes!!

Questions...?

I want...
and I don't get...
My heart cries in desperation...

I want...
and I get....
My heart cries in delight...

I want...,
I get...
and eventually I lose what I have got...
My heart cries in despair...

Will my heart ever stop crying??

Or Is it me?? Will I ever be satisfied? Will I ever feel free again?

Is it better to have something and lose it? Is it worse to have something and know that I'll lose it someday? Is it better never to have had it at all? Is ignorance really bliss?

The mind seeks answers, but are there any answers to these questions? Will the mind ever be at rest?

P.S. Don't ask me why!
P.P.S I don't know either!! :-(

Oh so broke!!!

If asked about the one thing i absolutely DETEST, it would, without a doubt, be the month end!!! "Good judgement comes from experience and experience comes from bad judgement" is what some wise-guy (pun intended) has said. Yea sure! I have learned from my poor judgements.... i now know exactly how much to borrow from my friend in the third week of the month, how to spend that so that i dont need to go back to her a second time....yea, 3 wrong judgements in a row has made me an experienced person...

Every month starts with meticulous attempt @ managing my of funds.....in and out of my a/c....everything looks hunky-dory in the beginning....but invariably, by the mid month, i find waaaay more debits than credits in my mini statements. Before i realize it, the balance has dwindled to a 2-digit figure from the handsome 5-digits @ the start of the month.

It sucks! Especialy when you are used to a heavy wallet in your pocket; when you have to think twice before buying your fav juice; when you have to do some serious introspection before ordering that extra roti or sabzi.....yea, in short, it sucks!!!

I have tried intro/retro/ watever-o-spection....to no avail....just cant put a finger on the problem. Something or the other just crops up and eats into my balance. First, an implusive trip to munnar; second, an irresistible shopping spree; third, a brand new scooty pep+; fourth, prey to habit....it just grows on you, this....

My friend (really? i gotta do some serious thinking now....) had this feeling of schadenfreude when i narrated this sorry state of mine to him.... (for the illiterates, follow this link to enlighten yourselves -
http://www.google.com/search?q=define%3A+schadenfreude&hl=en). He even hopes (secretly) that we get to suffer further by having to pay for our staple diet...coffee/tea... I'll give you a piece of mind when I meet you in person! May god help you then!

I'm delirious from hunger now & this retard has not yet returned from his cricket practice....!!! I'm gonna kill him....or i might be dead by then....
